On 14th May 2026, the firm successfully participated in the “Lex Connect 2026” event at Universiti Malaya Law School. The afternoon commenced with a dynamic sharing session where KSH lawyers provided students with firsthand glimpses into the realities of modern legal practice. Our lawyers candidly shared their personal career journeys, outlining the core practice areas and values that drive the firm. Crucially, the panel demystified the transition from academia to the legal fraternity, offering attendees practical advice and clear guidance on securing internships and pupillage opportunities.

Nur Nadirah Binti Mohamad Rodi graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of Malaya in 2022. She subsequently completed her pupillage at Messrs. Manjit Singh Sachdev, Mohammad Radzi & Partners and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in August 2023. Since her admission to the Malaysian Bar, she has been actively engaged in legal practice.

Nadirah is presently a legal associate in the firm’s Corporate & Real Estate Division. Her areas of practice include housing development projects as well as the acquisition and disposal of residential and commercial properties. She regularly advises developers, financial institutions, and individual clients on a broad range of real estate and corporate matters.

In addition, Nadirah is involved in banking and finance transactions for both conventional and Islamic financing facilities. She also assists financial institutions on regulatory and compliance matters with a focus on delivering practical, commercially sound, and client-oriented legal solutions.

Gan Zhen Xiang graduated from Universiti Malaya in 2024 with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours). He completed his pupillage at Messrs Kee Sern, Siu & Huey and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in July 2025.

Zhen Xiang is now an associate of the firm’s Dispute Resolution team. His practice focuses on corporate restructuring and insolvency matters, tenancy disputes, employment disputes and other civil disputes.

Chung Jay Shin was called to the Malaysian Bar in 2025.

She underwent her pupillage at Skrine, during which she gained exposure to Corporate Real Estate and Construction work.

Upon completion of her pupillage, she commenced her legal career and is now developing a practice covering areas of the firm’s work, including Commercial and Corporate Litigation.

She is presently involved in several other commercial disputes, where she is led by Lau Kee Sern and Vynny Wong Poh Yee.

He completed his Bar Vocational Course at City University of London and was called to the Bar of England and Wales 2023. He is a member of the Honourable Society of Middle Temple.

Welsen completed his pupillage at Messrs Kee Sern, Siu & Huey and was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in July 2025.

He is a member of the firm’s Dispute Resolution team, where his practice areas encompasses civil and commercial disputes, corporate restructuring and insolvency, as well as tenancy disputes.

ASEAN Law Association Presidential Banquet

On September 25, 2025, the ASEAN Law Association (ALA) hosted a historic Presidential Banquet at the M Resort & Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, marking a significant milestone for gender representation in the legal field.

The event, held in honor of Her Excellency Tun Tengku Maimun binti Tuan Mat—the first woman elected to the Presidency of ALA in its 47-year history—served as the official launch platform for the Standing Committee for Women in Law (SCWL).

The banquet was attended by distinguished members of the judiciary and the legal fraternity from Malaysia. Our firm attended to show our strong commitment to gender representation and leadership.
