Hooi Welsen read law at University of Liverpool, United Kingdom, and graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Honour) in 2022. He completed his Bar Vocational Studies at City, University of London, and was called to the Bar of England and Wales by the Honourable Society of Middle Temple in 2023.
Welsen completed his pupillage at Messrs Kee Sern, Siu & Huey and was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in July 2025. He is now a legal associate in the Firm’s Dispute Resolution team, where his practice encompasses civil and commercial disputes, corporate restructuring and insolvency, as well as tenancy disputes.
