On September 25, 2025, the ASEAN Law Association (ALA) hosted a historic Presidential Banquet at the M Resort & Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, marking a significant milestone for gender representation in the legal field. 

The event, held in honor of Her Excellency Tun Tengku Maimun binti Tuan Mat—the first woman elected to the Presidency of ALA in its 47-year history—served as the official launch platform for the Standing Committee for Women in Law (SCWL).

The banquet was attended by distinguished members of the judiciary and the legal fraternity from Malaysia. Our firm attended to show our strong commitment to gender representation and leadership.
